Agha Faisal (born 8 November 1972) is a Pakistani jurist who has been Justice of the Sindh High Court since 6 February 2018.[1]

Early life and education

Agha was born on 8 November 1972 in Karachi. He holds a B.Sc. in finance from Miami University and an LLB (Hons) from the University of Buckingham.

Career

Agha was called to the Bar of England and Wales by Lincoln's Inn and began his legal practice in 1998.[2] Prior to his judicial appointment, he taught as an lecturer at Sindh Muslim Law College.[2] He was admitted to the Supreme Court bar in 2012.[2]

Agha was appointed to as a justice of the Sindh High Court on February 6, 2018.[2] As a jurist, he has served on the Senate Tribunal Sindh for the 2021 elections and the Sindh Subordinate Judiciary Service Tribunal.[2] He has also been part of the High Court's Selection Committee for Promotion for Grade 16 and above, and committees focused on development, building maintenance, and horticulture.[2]
