Speedy deletion nomination of Positron (software)

Hello Wikieditorfp,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Positron (software) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hi, I replied on the "contest" link. This software is a successor to an older and very popular software, made by the same company, and it was only released 2 days ago. In the coming days and weeks it will definitely be filled with a lot more information from the data science community. I only created a stub for it because it's brand new and didn't have a page yet. Hi, if it was only released 2 days ago, it would be best to wait a while longer, until it has attracted more press coverage. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 22:53, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It may not have a lot of "press coverage" but it is being talked a lot about in social media. For example, on hackernews the discussion aobut this received more comments than almost any other topic that day. This is a page that will definitely exist very soon even if you delete it because it will gain popularity quickly, and it must begin from scratch at some point - I fail to see why that point cannot be now.
