Stefan Fryc (10 August 1894 – 9 November 1943) was a Polish footballer who played as a defender.[1] He competed in the men's tournament at the 1924 Summer Olympics.[2] He was murdered by the SS during World War II in a mass execution held in the Warsaw Ghetto.[3][4]
He took part in the 1939 defensive war with the rank of artillery reserve lieutenant. He was interned in Hungary. In 1943 he returned to the country settled in Warsaw. He was probably arrested by the Gestapo in November 1943, and died on November 9, 1943, murdered in the Warsaw Ghetto by the SS.[5] There is also a version in the literature that he died in the Warsaw Uprising.
