The building, in 2024

Dartford Civic Centre is a municipal building in Dartford, a town in Kent, in England.

The building was completed in 1975 as offices for Hall-Thermotank.[1] The council moved into the building in 1985.[2] Prior to 1985 the council was based at 45 High Street (also known as Bank House or Home House), a large converted 18th century house which had been acquired by the old Dartford Urban District Council in 1910.[3][4][5]

In 1991, an emergency centre was added to the building, filling in an area of ground floor car park, over which the original building had been supported on stilts.[6] In 2012, a man was arrested following an armed siege at the building.[7]
