Mugunthan Alaguhurai (born 7 August 1986) is a Sri Lankan percussionist known for his expertise in playing the conga drum and tumbadora. Born in Kirangulam, ^[1], Mugunthan developed a passion for percussion from a young age. He has since established himself as a prominent musician in Trincomalee, Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. Mugunthan frequently travels across the island to perform in stage programs, events, and fundraising activities for charity, often at temples and churches. His dynamic performances and rhythmic prowess have captivated audiences nationwide. With over a decade of professional experience, he has made significant contributions to the music scene in Sri Lanka, becoming a respected figure among local musicians and music enthusiasts alike.
