Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because not only has Sriya made history as the first Indian kpop idol but there are actually several articles that have covered both the announcement of her membership and her official debut in Blackswan, both in Korean media outlets and Indian media outlets. I've only just started but from the research that I've done, Sriya is someone who's been discussed by several journalists over the last 2 years alone and I do believe this article is important enough to be on Wikipedia. --K-popguardian (talk) 04:47, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
