Anjel was an R&B group made by former members of Destiny's Child members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson along with Tiffany Beaudoin and Naty Quinones. The group recorded 22 songs in Atlanta with the assistance of Jagged Edge. Jagged Edge's 581 Productions, the production company which handled the group fell through, and the group split in 2003 before releasing an album. After the split, members went their separate ways. LeToya Luckett signed to Capitol Records in 2004 and released her debut solo album, LeToya in 2006.

Anjel

In 2000, Linda Casey, mother of Brandon and Brian Casey of the R&B group Jagged Edge held a talent search in Connecticut. This contest would determine the newest member of the group Anjel. After many auditions in Atlanta, sixteen year old Natasha Ramos entered, She spent 10 months in Atlanta with LeToya & LaTavia (formerly of Destiny's Child) recording their album Soon, Vannesa Cruz also at the age of 16, she won a demo deal with 581 Entertainment under So So Def entertainment, owned by Jagged Edge. She recorded a three track demo that showcased her voice, range, emotion and versatility, Vaannesa was never actually a member of Anjel but she hung out with girls while the group recorded music. Due to differences within the group, it was decided that it was best for Natasha to pursue her own endeavors and so she left. Before leaving, she introduced Nativida Quinones to Letoya and Latavia who instantly fell in love with Naty,

New Group

Naty auditioned for Anjel and she made the cut in early 2001; (which meant she replaced Natasha). Later on in 2001 Tiffany (who was in college in Texas) was introduced to Letoya and Latavia by her mutual friend. She auditioned twice and made the cut and Anjel was complete. Soon Jermaine Dupri's decision to leave Columbia and go under Arista caused problems with 581 Entertainment. Prior to the move, Anjel Heavenly (Demo) project was on track to be released and Anjel performed "Missing You" on Good Day NY, their first television appearance together.In 2002 The Group made there appearence on Sister 2 Sister special,and made first page. The members decided to look into individual projects while group business issues were being handled.

In 2003, The record company soon folded and they were Anjels went their separate ways. Tiffany appeared on Jagged Edge's 2003 album, Hard, LeToya signed to Capitol Records in 2004 and released her self-titled, debut album in 2006 and it reached #1 it's 1st week of sales. Naty, now Nativida, still works with Phar-City and is on an independent label, Soul-Empire and her first single will be Ultimatum. Natasha released one song called "Who Needs You," a single she recorded on Arista Records, before she was dropped and signed to StarTrak in 2005, Vanessa Cruz isn't signed, but has songs on myspace.Tiffany is said to be releasing demos at the moment. As said by LaTavia, she is coming out with an album in 2007, but not to recreate LeToya's success in any kind of way.
