Starting Lineups are action figure toys of sports stars from baseball, football, basketball, hockey, boxing, track & field, skating, soccer, and golf. The line of Starting Lineups was created by the Kenner Company in 1988. Kenner was taken over by the Hasbro Company in the late 1990s. Hasbro continued to make and market the line of action figures until 2001 when the company decided to cease production.
