Blootbot is an IRC bot and is a fork of the original Infobot project. It uses SQL storage as the backend including MySQL and SQLite. It has many more features than the original Infobot project and is an active project. The project lead is Tim Riker. apt, ibot, jbot, purl, dpkg, and others on freenode are blootbots.
