Thanks for your message. I appreciate your time and help in this matter. As I stated in my prior message, I do have stories in magazines and mewspapers that are just about me. We thought that the references that were used in The Washington Post, Academy Awards, etc, were valid resources, since it explained who I was and what was the reason, and were somewhat historical of value. I have also notice that under "Paula Jones" that under "change of appearance" my name was taken out of that. This was international news, Paula's makeover, and is my credibility and is what put me in my current position. In my business, "the beauty business", that is considered a major achievement. But no problem, it is just that Wiki is not that easy for me to figure out. The myspace link is there because my .com site is being revamped. But I do agree that there are alot of fake sites on myspace out there. The photo I want to use that was already on the wiki page prior I own and is with the Library of Congress in D.C.. Do I upload it on my page or, how do I do it since there is a block? I, myself, have notice that not many people on wikipedia have many, if at all one, articles or refrences though. I do have them. Am I able to download them as well? Thanks again for the help : )

Greetings and welcome

Greetings Mr. Dicriscio, I saw your message at the AFD on your article, so as not only an administrator, but as the person who started the discussion, I wanted to leave you a message that explained everything. Honestly, what you do is great and I probably heard of you once or twice in passing, so we are not trying to treat you like you are not anything.

The first issue I had was whoever the Jasmine user was, she used the article to make it sound like an advertisement for you. This is frowned upon, since we need to keep a balanced version. The lack of sources or references to some of your lifetime activities was pretty much the reason why I started the deletion discussion. As of now, Jasmine's block was reduced for a 24 hour period, so the block should be over now. The reason why she was blocked is that she called the use of attorneys to control Wikipedia content and to prevent others from making changes.

Linking to pages, such as MySpace, is not illegal in our sense, but in my experience in dealing with articles, there are many myspaces that are set up that are fake. The example I choose to bring up is on model/singer Leah Dizon. Many people try to cite information from her three or four myspaces, but none of them are real according to her official English (and I also believe Japanese) website. The IMDB, another website we link to a lot, is also user submitted content, so we are not sure if everything there is true. If your .com is back up, we can link to that.

Also, just because the article is deleted does not mean it will forever be deleted. While I did put a block on creating your article for a time period, it was mainly due to users just copy and pasting articles word for word, which we consider plagirism. We usually delete those articles once we see them. I am perfectly happy if the article is shortened, but with most of the information cited or referenced. The reason is we have an official policy on how to write articles on people who are alive and I want to stay with that policy as much as I can. I write about things that not many know about, so I know how you feel, but I just wanted what was best for Wikipedia. If you have questions, you can contact me here, at my talk page or if email works the best, you can use that. Thanks again for hearing me out and thanks for coming by. The single most important thing to creating any article on Wikipedia is the availability of sources. Most of the sources we could find for the article just mention the name, rather than discuss the person. If you can find some articles where you're actually the subject, that would be a great help, and then they can be used to write a neutrally phrased article.
