DecembeRadio

DecembeRadio is a Christian "southern rock" band from Virginia. Their eponymous national debut won the 2007 Dove Award for "Rock Album of the Year".[1]

Background

The band grew out of two praise and worship music teams. One was lead by Brian Bunn and Josh Reedy.[2] They began accompanying evangelist Billy Wayne Arrington on the road, and met Erik Miker in 2001.[2] Miker and his youth pastor, Kevin Nuzum, lead a worship team at the First Baptist Church in Shinnston, West Virginia.[3] Arrington is also credited with introducing the group to their drummer, Boone Daughdrill, and to Scotty Wilbanks, the producer of their first album.[2]
