Agnieszka Osiecka (9 october 1937 - 7 march 1997) was a Polish poet and songwriter. She wrote over 2000 songs, performed by artists such as Maryla Rodowicz , Seweryn Krajewski, Violetta Villas and Krystyna Janda. She was also a journalist and a writer. Married three times in her lifetime, her first marriage in 1963 was to Wojciech Frykowski later well known as a victim of Charles Manson murders. Finally she married Polish journalist Daniel Passent and together they had one daughter Agata Passent born in 1973. She died from colon cancer at the age of 60, on march 7 1997 in Warsaw, Poland.
