Apology to all

I am the one making the changes to kell and they are for a reason not for vandalism so please stop taking them off

I spend a lot of my time reverting vandalism, but if I make a mistake and revert something which isn't vandalism, I apologise.--Katieh5584 10:25, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You

Thank you for cleaning up the vandalism on the page and welcome to the Warhammer 40,000 pages. We tend to get people randomly vandalizing the pages often. It goes with the territory, I guess. Thanks for your help. SanchiTachi 21:08, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Xindi edit

Hello, you recently reverted an edit I made to this article, calling it vandalism. I was correcting a mistake - another editor had copied and pasted text from another article and forgot to fix the character's name, so I had fixed it. I re-reverted your revert, so that it now displays the character's correct name!

Hello katieh5584, You reverted some text I had previously edited on the Xindi (Star Trek) page but i don't think you actually read what you were reverting it back to. According to the article as it stood (and you have returned it to) the Xindi "launched a probe that attacked Earth in April of 2153, killing 7 million people in a narrow strip of land stretching from Florida to Venezuela." However if you had consulted an atlas before changing my edit, you would quickly realise that the Caribbean Sea lies between Florida and Venezuela, and a sea, by definition is NOT a narrow strip of land. Therefore it is more accurate to simply substitute the word 'land' for 'desruction' as this only requires a minor alteration and accurately describes the action carried out by a precise laser weapon. I suggest you consult an atlas or watch the episode of Enterprise in question before considering re-re-reverting. The purpose of wikipedia is to pool knowledge, relying on people with different areas of expertise and interest to create something beneficial to all. I am merely trying to do that and as I obviously no more than you on this subject you should probably leave the text in its edited (and more accurate) state. Joe
