Request reason:

This IP address is not a sockpuppet of banned user User:Jessica Liao. This IP address did not even edit before it was blocked. I think this block is unjust. How can this IP address be blocked if it was not even active? (The last edit that this IP address made was on May 17, 2007. The administrator blocked this IP address on May 19, 2007.) And also this IP address never attempted to harass other users. The administrator that blocked this IP address was blocking an innocent editor.

Decline reason:

Then please contact unblock-en-l using your ISP's email account, and ask if someone will create an account on your behalf. The simple fact is that this is a static IP address which does not appear to be shared among any large number of people, and it's been a persistent source of problematic edits (see talk history and block log, among other things). With that in mind, I'm not comfortable unblocking. If you contact unblock-en-l using your ISP email account, you're giving some insurance as to your actual identity, and the equation shifts a bit. Sorry for the trouble. – Luna Santin (talk) 23:09, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

It is suspected that this IP address might have been used by Jessica Liao.
Please refer to Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Jessica Liao for evidence. See block log and current autoblocks.

Comment

Is it that hard to just wait for the block to be over? It ends on November 19, 2007. It's not like you can't edit forever. All it takes is patience.

Your reversion of this article is unsupported. As described at length on the talk page, there is an 80 to 1 ratio of references to "great neck south high school" vs. "great neck south senior high school". Click here for a statement on the school's web page which states "To our knowledge, we are the only PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL opera company in the nation." (emphasis added). Again, the issue is not that you can find the school referenced as a "senior high school". The issue is that the overwhelming usage is "great neck south high school" and we do have a reference to the school as a public high school. I encourage you to try to see that consensus supports this approach. Alansohn 21:00, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As much as I would like to say something new Alansohn pretty much hit the nail on the head here. Your changes are less known and aren't from direct quotes from official school website. MrMacMan Talk 05:40, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's rather obvious that if the south high school is listed as a public highschool the entire district is. You know this but you make the changes anyway. Why? MrMacMan Talk 21:13, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
