I have diverse interests in history, philosphy and science, though qualifications only in the last. I am new to contributing to Wikipedia, so I am sure that I shall be making some terrible faux pas, for which I hope I will be forgiven.


So far I have edited:

Vendée to expand the section on the economy of a region I know quite well and to (rather presumptously on my part perhaps) remove some somewhat blatent advertising. I think I am allowed to do that??

Visbreaker - I know entirely too much about refining to make me interesting at dinner parties.

Plus some minor edits in "Jamel Debbouze" (my favourite French commedian - they do exist) and "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain"
