Valente

Template:Infobox musical artist 2 "Valente" was born in Rome, Italy, son of a American Jazz Singer and an Italian Theatre Director. At the age of 1 he moved to the Italian part of Switzerland and lived there till he was 18. There he attended a catholic priest boarding school where his love for music started growing even more. He would sneak out of his room at night and go to the basement where there was this soundproof room with an uprght piano. He would sit there for nights on end writing. And whenever he was home for vacation he would worry his father sick when he wouldn't come home until the wee small hours of the morning. What his father didn't know is that he befriended the owner of the only record store in their town and would spend hours there listening to music. There he started to figure out that it was the only thing he was cut out for. (according to his Latin teacher it was either gonna be lawyer or second hand car salesman...so thank God!) After a short stint in London he moved to LA, fresh out of High School. He went to a music school thinking he was going to be a bass player. Oh but he was wrong. After a big break up he decided to stop trying to hide and figured he should go for what he really wanted, being a singer/songwriter.
