Wea Ridge Middle School is a public middle school located off of South 18th Street in Lafayette, Indiana. During the 2006-2007 school year it housed grades 6-8, as well as kindergarten classes for Wea Ridge Elementary School. Its principal is currently Corey Marshall, and the assistant principal is Michelle Sanson. The school mascot is the Husky, and the school colors are maroon, white, and black.

Mission statement

Wea Ridge Middle School, in partnership with the community, recognizes that students need to explore their talents and potential in a positive educational atmosphere. We are committed to providing opportunities for academic achievement, creative exploration and expression, and physical, social, and emotional growth. In a safe environment, where character is shaped and diversity is respected, students will be encouraged to develop the skills to lead a healthy life style, to make sound decisions, and to become productive citizens and life-long workers.

Sports

Wea Ridge's main rivals in sports are the Southwestern Wildcats, Battle Ground Tomahawks, and the Techumseh Braves.

In the 2006-2007 school year, the Wea Ridge Huskies Football team won the WCJC Championship by beating Twin Lakes 14-0.

Wea Ridge also holds a Dodgeball Tournament each year that any student can compete in.
