As I Am is the third studio album from American R&B singer Alicia Keys. The album is set to be released October 2007. Keys has been working on the album since late 2006. Keys first spoke of the album's name when she told E! News reporter Giuliana DePandi that "As I Am" would be the title of her album on June 26 at the 2007 BET Awards red carpet pre-show. Keys recently spoke to MTV about As I Am and said, “It’s coming together incredibly. I am in love with this album. It’s very fresh and new."[1] If this album debuts at number one then Keys will be on her way to tying with Britney Spears with their debuts opening at number one

As I Am will feature appearances by John Mayer, Timbaland, Floetry, Linda Perry and more.
