Content review

NOTE: This page is a template designed for inclusion in Wikipedia:Deletion review. Keep it very short and don't remove the header!

Editors who wish to have an article temporarily restored may place a request in this section. Common reasons are to use that content elsewhere, because the user suspects that an article has been wrongly deleted but is unable to tell without seeing what exactly was deleted, or because the full history may be needed for proper transwikiing.

Note that only uncontroversial content should be restored — not revisions deleted as copyright violation, potentially libellous content or similar. Using restored article text to recreate a deleted article without addressing the problems that resulted in its deletion can result in the article being speedy deleted. Keeping deleted content in your userspace if you have no immediate intention of using it for encyclopaedic purposes is frowned on, as Wikipedia is not a free web host. If kept too long, the page may be nominated for deletion at miscellany for deletion. Add {{db-userreq}} to the top of the subpage when you no longer need it.

If you only need to read a deleted page's contents, consider asking for them to be emailed to you.

  • University of Saint Mary (Kansas) - was speedly deleted by admin Metros under (CSD G11: Blatant Advertising) he's on a wikibreak for an indefinite period, I can't work with him on it, and I need to see what was there. When I _created_ it it wasn't a blatant add, and I used outside sources. But I need to SEE it in order to figure out what happened. -- Thanks Rick Boatright 14:17, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Student Youth Network - was speedily deleted by admin Cazza411 for having 'No indepent verifiable information, arguably not notable'. I'd like to rewrite the page including citations to the CBAA Awards the organisation has been awarded. The page of a Melbourne wide full power youth oriented radio station is incredibly notable, so I would like to retrieve the original text to do so. Regards Ken McLean 21:08, 12 July 2007 (AEDT)
  • Negar Assari-Samimi - was speedily deleted by Tyrenius for being 'promotional requiring a rewrite.' I'd like to rewrite the page, but need to retrieve the original text to do so. Regards David Smith 21:08, 12 July 2007 (AEDT)
  • Anime South - I'm open to another AfD for this page if needed, but the article improperly received a Speedy Delete with the G4 reasoning. The re-created page was substantially different from the deleted version and the revisions made clearly addressed all the reasons for which the page was originally deleted. - Animesouth 21:16, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Futuristic Sex Robotz - was deleted a number of times based off of a vote taken in 2006 (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Futuristic Sex Robotz). The vote and subsequent deletions (most recently in June of '07) were based off of a low noteriety of the group, citing a low return on Google searches (it should be noted that the spelling is "Robotz" and not "robots"). I listened to this band for the first time today and wanted to learn more about the roup on Wikipedia, but there is no entry. Tracking back the arguments, I found that Futuristic Sex Robotz yields over half a million returns (including a video on youtube). Considering that the low number of hits was the basis for the deletion, and seeing as how those hits have increased notably, I think the page should be allowed to be created and expanded. Please reconsider. Josh242 22:32, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Impaled Northern Moonforest - This was split off from Seth Putnam on May 11 2006, with the edit history going to Impaled Northern Moonforest. Now that that's deleted, I think that the deleted revisions that came from Seth Putnam need to be merged back into Seth Putnam. See also [1]. (I asked the deleter to do this but he didn't respond; please let me know if this isn't clear or if I'm wrong that this needs to be done). Thanks, Pan Dan 18:18, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
