lovehatetragedy is the second major-label album by Californian rock group Papa Roach. It was released on June 18 2002, and ultimately didn't sell as well as its predecessor, "Infest". Notable was the exception of previous rapped vocals, except on the song "She Loves Me Not". Some feel this album was a let-down in comparison to Infest, and some even say this album lost Papa Roach a large section of their fanbase. However, it still sold approximately 700 000 units (gold) in US alone. It was also certified gold in UK and Canada. It peaked #2 on Billboard 200.
The album was originally meant to be titled 'Born To Rock' thus the cover.

- The album was released in a 'censored' version despite its lack of much profanity.
- On the edited cover the baby is not throwing up metal horns. Its was airbrushed down to making a fist.
