Baria Qureshi was born December 3, 1988, in Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton, London. She attended Granard Primary School which was placed in the middle of a council estate where she also happened to live for approximately 5 years. She then attended Elliott High School for 5 years. She then attended the 6th form college within her school which she left to start working in march 07' During this period she lived with her parents and older brother Sarim Qureshi in New Malden, Surrey. At the age of 18 her family moved back to Putney, London where Baria was brought up. She is also one third of south-west London based band The XX. (www.myspace.com/thexxarefun) She also loves to dance.
