In addition to WP policies and guidelines, I adhere to the following policies:

• Presumption of innocence.
• In a court of law, intentional violence is distinguished from unintentional. The same principle should apply in an encyclopedia.
  • A distinction should be made between innocents targeted on purpose vs. bystanders (or human shields) harmed unintentionally in a police/army operation aimed to prevent more innocent deaths.
  • Similarly, a distinction should be made between combatants vs. non-combatants.
