Contract Field Teams are agile teams providing temporary and long-term labor support for a variety of technical service needs; maintenance and repair, depot services, inspections, modernization for contingency support for aircraft, vehicles, weapon systems and other equipment. The key differentiator is that a contract field team must be ready mobile and ready to deploy at a moments notice.

Also used in reference to an United States Air Force Contract first established in 1951 to augment it's maintenance capability.
