Protagonist

The main character is selectable as either a male or female character. The protagonist has chose to fuse with Gig in order to protects the world with that power. However if that power is heavily relied upon, then Gig will abruptly take control of the body. When he's done, the main character will regain control once more, or so it would seem.
Danette
Age: 17
Race: Sepu
Japanese Voice Actor: Chiwa Saito
She is a girl of the Sepu race. Danette is an orphan and does not remember what happened to her parents. She is both a childhood friend of the protagonist and someone that the protagonist relies on. Danette is a trustworthy character with a very straight and honest personality. However, she can be quite bad with names.

An unidentified male. He was the one who originally unleashed the World Eaters and gave the command for the destruction of the world. 200 years ago he was sealed in a black sword by his mentor Rena in their final showdown, but has been given the means to fuse with the protagonist. His plan is to use the body of the protagonist for his resurrection. He has a speaking style of looking down on other people.
Runa

Runa descends from a tribe of magicians. She was the one responsible for sealing up Gig into the black sword 200 years ago. She was believed to have died when she and Gig simultaneously struck each other with the finishing blow. Now she is the elder of the village where the protagonist lives.
Fienne

Race: World Eater
One of the World Eaters, there are 3 of them in total. Under the command of Gig, they tried to destroy the world 200 years ago. When Gig was defeated by Runa, they all stooped moving. Fienne's body is located in the forest north of the Country of Light, serving as a reminder of the time when the world was almost destroyed. Of the three World Eaters, Fienne appears to be the strongest. Aside from being a World Eater, Fienne seems to have another connection to Gig.
Levin
Age: 18
Japanese Voice Actor: Suzuki Tatsuo
A hot-blooded character who serves as a gate keeper of Osteca. He is looking over and caring for his older sister and hence does not like leaving the city.
Retaly
Age: 25
Race: Human
Japanese Voice Actor: Michihiko Hagi
Retaly is a cool-headed spy and healer, who lives in the town of Osteca. He originally wanted to become a chef and becomes very talkative when he's around food. He's the boss of Cluster, another character in Osteca. He shares gate watching duties with Levin.

Race: Mermaid

She is a mermaid queen living in an underwater palace, who spends most of her time in the palace. It seems as though the World Eaters hold a grudge against her.
Jost

Due to Alexithymia's lack of availability, Jost leads the aquatic tribe in the queen's stead. She has a tough, strict personality with a distrust of humans, but even so she has a fondness of children.
Endorf

Endorf is the head of a group of thieves. This gun-wielding man only takes money from rich people. 15 years ago, after he had suffered near fatal burns, Alexithymia helped treat him. "This man is no longer able to return to the world he came from." Endorf is not his original name.

Originally Schema, not Endorf was the head of the thieves. With Endorf now in charge, Schema seems content with her new position as the second in command. She hates the poor, society, and even herself. The only thing she cares for is money.

The father of Runa, a long time ago when there was a great war between humans and monsters, he brought all countries together underneath his leadership. However he only reigned as king for 10 years before he died alongside with his son, shaking up the peace that he had brought about.

A stubborn old soldier of the Redford Family. Ten years ago, he lived in Rena's Hidden Village, but because he had different opinions about Rena's situation, he was kicked out.

Ido is a man who teaches fighting skills. He's called "Ido the Evil Eye." He wants to be a famous trainer, but he's... not very good at it and constantly screws up. Apparently, he has two animals called "Funks" that travel with him.
Thorndike

Calvary leader of the Light Country. The citizens have a lot of faith in him, and he's apparently in their Senate. He's an honest fellow, but he's always around during certain incidents...
Driesch
Age: 18

Japanese Voice Actor: Mai Nakahara
The only daughter of a rich merchant. She has a good heart and a strong sense of justice. She apparently has some connection with Ganzhult.
