Patrick "Pat" Monahan was born February 28 1969 in Erie (Waterford), Pennsylvania.

He is the lead singer and songwriter for the Grammy award winning band Train. He also plays percussion and saxophone.

He announced on June 25th that his first album, Last of Seven, will be released on September 18th. His first solo single, Her Eyes, started playing on radio stations in July. Since July 6th, the song has been playing in rotation on the Sirius radio station, The Pulse.

On July 21st 2007 Pat married for the second time. On August 5th, Monahan perfomed the American National Anthem at the Hall Of Fame Game 2007 in Ohio.
