Source of the name "5"

There are two ideas floating around the internet about the source of the name "5". The first suggestion is that it has been 5 years since it debuted its popular sugar-free Orbit in 2002. The second, and generally more accepted suggestion, is that it stimulates the 5 senses while chewing. Possibly, the name could be a reference to the gum having 5 calories.
