Fair use

It's wording I adapted and worked out some time ago, and generally use it with tweaks where necessary. No doubt it can be improved now. You can find it ready to copy and paste at: User:Tyrenius/Image_FU#Fair_use_rationale_for_artwork. Also check out the links at User:Tyrenius#Images.

You must state the source, e.g. URL if from web, copyright owner (or presumed owner), details of the image - title, artist, plus a fair use rationale for each article it is used in: this goes on the image page, plus the Non-free 2D art template. Justification for fair use on wiki includes free image is not available, use in critical commentary or to illustrate the work of the artist or school of art, low resolution and is not considered to prejudice the commercial interests of the copyright owner.

Dear Freshacconci

I noticed you deleted and edited a few references through censure-methods that lacked discussions. If you can please abide through the debate and discussions provided by Wikipedia's good faith policy (since these are what such features were in place for) it'd be greatly appreciate and with your civil participation we shall enhance the Wikipedia database for the better. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.81.86.124 (talkcontribs)

Personal attacks

Please don't take them personally. Your good work is known and recognised. :) Tyrenius 01:17, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Picasso

Thanks for stepping in, I appreciate it, yeah it's a song but I hate seeing that kind of stuff, does that really improve Picasso? Modernist 16:03, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again, I was gonna comment to you yesterday about Tyrenius's message of support - don't let em get you down, but sometimes its hard. Modernist 16:13, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Modern Lovers song/Pablo Picasso

If the McCartney song reference is valid, then the Modern Lovers song is also valid. To snub them because they didn't have as much commercial success is snobbery. Wikipedia recognizes them and recognizes the song. It is a valid cross-reference. If trivia is not fair play, then the article should not have a trivia section.

Main Page

I'm sorry, I thought everybody could see I was being facetious, along the order of the general mood then. 141.157.78.189 02:51, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry!

Sorry about those decade mishaps in those last articles I edited. I just remembered there was a rule that it was *s instead of *'s. Thanks for the heads up. See ya around.

Freshacconci, why?

I took out descriptive detail of his death - does Wilkpedians need to know that he held roses in his coffin, or his coffin was made of such wood, come on - look at what I deleted and then make a rational judgment. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.190.187.45 (talk) 00:01, August 24, 2007 (UTC)
