High School Career

Attended The Woodlands High School in Houston, TX where he was a Parade All-American in 2000. Ranking Number 9 on the Austin-American Statesman's College Football Recruiting Fab 55 for 2000. Committed to attend The University of Texas at Austin.

College Career

Was a backup quarterback during the Chris Simms-Major Applewhite years, before getting the starting job in 2003.

Played well in the first several games of the season before being pulled for Vince Young during the 2003 game versus the Oklahoma Sooners. Alternated time with Vince after that, providing a very accurate classic drop-back threat to complement Vince Young's scrambling abilities.

Was the subject of much speculation during the 2003-2004 off-season as to whether he would transfer from Texas based on Vince Young winning the starting job. However, he decided to stay at Texas to be second string quarterback for the 2004 season.

Professional Career

Went undrafted and attempted to sign on with several NFL teams. Eventually signed to play QB for the Austin Wranglers, an Arena Football League team, based in Austin, TX.

Currently works as an announcer for the Austin Wranglers.
