== Description of the Purpose of the Bot|Mjaballah: ==

The BotMjaballah is mainly designed to Scan the Wikipedia web-pages and collect all the Mathematical equations that it contains. Simply put it will search throughout the Wikipedia pages seeking all images (HTML images tags “<img …”) and selectively collecting among these images all the images that contain the “tex” CLASS Property( <img Class=”tex” …). This means that the image is a representation of a Latex Mathematical Formula. Luckly, Wikipedia encloses the Actual Tex code within the ALT Attribute of the image Tag. Meaning that the bots task is simply extracting these ALT Values and storing in a Database of All Equations found within Wikipedia.


LatexBot is programmed using Python.


It will automatically run, and manually assisted.


The bot as explained earlier will extract information from the Wikipedia pages, so it will not exceed a days length. And the bot will only be run One Successful cycle collecting all the equations from Wikipedia.


The Maintainer of the bot is the User Mjaballah
