Torfajökull

Torfajökull is a rhyolitic stratovolcano and complex of subglacial volcanoes, located north of Myrdalsjökull and south of Thorisvatn Lake, Iceland. Torfajökull last erupted in 1477 and consists of the largest area of silicic extrusive rocks in Iceland.
