Michael E. Henry

Michael E. Henry (born October 4, 1976) is an Operations Research Analyst and Applications Developer focusing on military applications for Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., a company that provides independent decisions to complex problems within the Department of Defense(DOD). Michael is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor's of Sciences in Mathematical Sciences with concentrations in Operations Research and Statistics.

Personal

Henry, son of Don A. and Nancy J., was raised in Manassas, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC. Henry's first child, Morgan was born in 1994. Henry attended Virginia Commonwealth University located in Richmond, Virginia and through a strong fascination of engineering, computer science and mathematics he earned a Bachelor's of Sciences in Mathematical Sciences with concentrations in Operations Research and Statistics. During college he worked as a business analyst and full charge bookkeeper for a small architectural products firm that focused in heavy commercial curtain wall and windows. During this position he helped start a commercial finished aluminum importing company that focused on manufacturers from southern China.

After college he worked as an Applications Developer for a competitive local exchange telephone provider designing inward facing systems integration applications for legacy applications. After his time as a developer he acquired a position with a Northern Virginia based firm using his analysis skills to provide analysis to top decision makers within the Department of Defense.
