Roger S. Pressman

Dr. Roger Pressman is an author and consultant and is President of R.S. Pressman & Associates.

Pressman is author of the textbook Software Engineering: A Practitioners Approach, now in its 6th edition and published by McGraw-Hill in 2005. The book has been translated into 8 languages and is the world's best selling textbook on the subject. Pressman is also author of five other books on software engineering-related topics and has written a novel, The Aymara Bridge.

Dr. Pressman specializes in helping companies establish effective software engineering practices. He is the developer of Process Advisor, the industy's first self-directed software process improvement product and Essential Software Engineering, the industry's most comprehensive video curriculum in software engineering. He has ventured into a new Internet-based software engineering training curriculum, EdistaLearning, developed in partnership with QAI India.

QAI in collaboration with Dr. Roger S. Pressman, has launched "The QAI & Dr. Pressman Series" in the EdistaLearning portfolio.
