Ava Wilson, is a fictional character on The CW Television Network's Supernatural portrayed by Katharine Isabelle. She was introduced in Season 2.
Biography
Ava Wilson, first introduced in the episode "Hunted", is a seemingly regular woman with a regular life. She is easily worried and sarcastic about even the most dangerous of situations. Ava is also engaged, hoping to live out her life peacefully. However, she is plagued with nightmares and visions of bad things happening to people, and coincidentally, in one of those dreams, Ava sees Sam die. Completely shocked, Ava goes on a search for Sam in order to prevent his death. She ends up in Lafayette, Indiana and meets up with Sam in a motel that she saw in her dream. She informs him that he died in her dream and that he needs to leave Indiana right away. She also reveals that she is a secretary from Peoria, flashing him her engagement ring showing him that she is trying to live a life without visions or anything having to do with demons. Sam reveals to Ava that he has powers too and they are all connected in a twisted plan concoted by the Yellow Eyed Demon. He asks about her mother, but is shocked to find out that she is alive and well, living in Palm Beach. Later on in the episode, Ava shows her comedic side as she asks the therapist which last saw one of the other psychics, asking him if it was a suicide attempt when she consumed 8 packs of poprocks and soda. Through this feat, she helped Sam steal confidentially files without the therapist's knowledge. Ava sticks with Sam throughout the episode until they are shot at by Gordon Walker, a hunter pursuing Sam. After being urged by Sam, Ava leaves and goes home. At the end of the episode, Sam and Dean go to Ava's house in Peoria and are welcomed by her dead fiancé with a slit throat and sulfur by the windows. Sam is also shocked to see Ava's bloody engagement ring on the floor by her bed. The brothers are left to wonder what happened to her and if the Demon was involved.
In "All Hell Breaks Loose, Part 1", Ava returns as Sam and the other special children are rounded up in an abandoned town, Cold Oak, to square off against one another. Ava is seemingly alright and the same as she was seen last noting that she just saw Sam two days ago, but Sam informs her of her unaccounted five month disappearance to which she is confused by. She once again lives true to her sarcasm and various emotions, and acts genuinely concerned to return home to her fiancé. Towards the end, Ava disappears and as Sam and Jake go to look for her, she reappears and breaks a salt barrier in a room against a window, much to the surprise of Andy. She then summons a demon through the window, using it to violently tear Andy apart. Feigning fear after Andy's death, Ava screams and brings Sam back into the room with her. His worst fears confirmed, Sam catches on that Ava isn't all too innocent and upon his revelation, Ava wipes away her tears and begins to tell Sam about her change to the dark side. She tells him to accept the power he has and that once he does, "switches in his brain" suddenly click, just like her powers have evolved. He then realizes that she has been developing these powers over the course of five months and that she has killed all other children who have come to the abandoned town. Declaring herself the winner, she mockingly says sorry as Sam discovers that she has the power to control demons. With this, she begins to summon the same demon which savagely murdered Andy, but is stopped as Jake comes at the right time and fatally snaps her neck. Ava then falls lifeless to the ground and the demon being summoned is released from her control.
