Irving Middle School was established in 1927 and is one of the eleven middle schools in the Lincoln Public Schools school district. It is named after author Washington Irving. It is located at 2745 S. 22nd Street in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Currently in the 2007-2008 school year, approximately 800 students are enrolled. Irving's principal is Hugh McDermott, the associate principal is Tim Farley, and the special education coordinators are Sharon Navas and John Squier. The school's mascot is the Aardvark.
