Gary Flax was born in South Africa having grandparents that originated from Russia (Lithuania), Poland and United Kingdom. His father was one of the first in South Africa to do mass production of Jewellery, developing innovative technology “automatic spin casting”, which is still been used to this day. Gary Flax is a self-made entrepreneur who qualified as a dental technician, who focused on maxilla facial reconstruction prophesies. Starting with limited finances, he set up a small manufacturing plant making badges and corporate gifts. This company is still in operation and specializes in mass production of pin badges supplying Africa and surrounding islands. Known for his numerous innovation such as the first “working” mini water cooler, the universal water filter, back weighted golf clubs use by leading golf brands in the USA and imbedded storage technology that’s linked to computers that is used to this day for toys and educational downloads, design and manufacturing of leading world brands. His company " Little Luxury', www.littleluxury.com holds patents in Europe, USA, South Africa and China. The trademarks are registered in over 100 countries. His company has research and development centres in South Africa and the USA. His companies had the licenses for world cup merchandise in 1998 and Jeep juvenile goods to name a few, designing and developing goods for factories that make for the EU and USA markets. In two years www.jeepbaby.co.za is now one of the top baby brands, winning numerous trade shows and retail awards. Gary Flax owns his own prototype, tooling and developing plant www.prototypepro.com. The design centre develops and manufactures products for Nestle, Jeep, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Zodiac (France) and other large corporations. . His companies have won International marketing awards, New York Adv gold, and the converted Nestle Innovative Award. Flax has received commendation by some of the leaders of the largest retailer chains in South Africa and abroad. He believes in democracy and encourages business that is environmentally friendly - manufacturing products that will reduce help reduce harmful emissions or/and are recyclable. His companies comply with International standards and human rights codes of working practices. Gary Flax supports numerous charities that look after the upliftment, care and shelter of children and women
