This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Art Markham (talk | contribs) at 13:39, 21 September 2007 (Moving "compromise agreements" to here - singular noun). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

A Compromise Agreement is a contract between an employer and its employee (or ex-employee) that can be used in redundancy and dismissal situations. The employee will typically receive a negotiated financial sum in exchange for agreeing that they will have no further claim against the employer for any sums owed under the original contract of employment.
