Peter Joseph Simone was a Kansas City, Missouri mobster who was involved in running casinos.

Simone worked through front man Pat O'Brien for crime boss Nicholas Civella and, following Civella's death, for his brother Carl Civella. In April 1992, Simone was convicted for money laundering in a video poker scam and was sentenced to four years imprisonment. Released on probation in 1996, in May 1997 Simone was listed in the "Black Book", which bar undesirables from working in the Nevada gaming industry. The Nevada Gaming Commission found evidence that Simone was connected to Ted Binion, an associate of Kansas City mobster Peter Joseph Ribaste.

On January 2, 1999, only two months before the end of probation, Simone was caught playing a craps game at Harrah's North Kansas City Hotel & Casino. Although sentenced to spend one day in jail, Simone's probation period was extended 12 months with four months w electronically monitored house arrest [1]. However, Simone still couldn't stay out of trouble. Later in 1997, Simone violated probation again; his probation officer observed him at a strip club for over three hours [2]. This time, Simone went back to prison.
