Owl Studios is an indipendent record label started by Al Hall. It is based in Indianapolis, IN. It was founded in 2005 as an unconventionally "artist friendly" label focusing on a much more generous profit sharing business plan than typical record labels offer. Owl studios concentrates on jazz, R&B, and jam band genres.
