Richer man

George Peabody donated the money, not George Foster Peabody, who was born in 1852. Peabody College is not named for George Foster Peabody, it is named for George Peabody (1795-1869), the richer man, who established the Peabody Education Fund in 1867.StatesmanVelocicaptor 13:00, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
