Chabahar free trade –industrial zone achieved its importance mainly from geographical location as the shortest and the most secure route connecting central Asian independent states and Afghanistan to warm waters and proximity to one of the largest oil ,gas and mineral resources of the world as the only ocean port of the country

In recent years Iranian government planned large projects to turn Chabahar as the main transit route to central Asia and Afghanistan that free trade incentives given by Chabahar free trade –industrial zone would help this ambitious plan.
