Re:Rules/Regulations

Yeah, you can, as long as it's verifiable. But don't overwrite the article. Just add the missing information. Thanks for participating in AFC Backlog Reduction Drive and have a nice day. -FlubecaTalk 14:43, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{hangon}}

A tag has been placed on Stacy's Music Row Report, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Corvus cornix 18:11, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy me.  :) I saw it in Recent changes. Corvus cornix 18:46, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Heh. It helps vandal fighters and those of us who try to winnow the chaff out. Corvus cornix 18:51, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The "first responder" found "blatant advertising." This person doesn't know Stacy Harris. Please check his bio page attached to Stacy's Music Row Report. Then check the pages that show who Stacy's readers are- media, industry and fans. These entities don't spend time on "advertising."

Your instructions are too complicated, but we agree: Stacy's Music Row Report is a legitimate site. There's no blatant advertising for it, though it is an advertiser-supported site. 75.73.178.16 03:35, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's right. I tried to follow the instructions and I don't get it either. Maybe they're trying to call Stacy a spammer.

Are they trying to say she spams her own site? This makes no sense and they certainly haven't provided any examples or documentation. 72.154.245.159 04:43, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We contest the tagging? How can you ask for donations and then deny us information about Stacy's Music Row Report? 65.1.219.30 02:10, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure who you are talking to, but could you please take your discussion to their page. I have nothing to do with the article you are discussing. I was simply helping with the backlog and felt (at the time) that it deserved a place in wikipedia, the guidelines disagreed. Please do not reply to this on my talk page anymore. --Counterpart0 00:09, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article which you posted on behalf of User:210.214.80.117 has been deleted as a recreation of an article deleted per AfD. Tyrenius 23:59, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Adam Sims

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Adam Sims, by Nuttah68 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Adam Sims seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Adam Sims, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 12:37, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
