The name of a project within Google. A leaked conference video, referenced the project. During the conference the intent to incorporate Google Reader as a way to display a news feed of personal information was expressed.[1][2] The word makamaka means "Intimate friend with whom one is on terms of receiving and giving freely; pal, buddy; host" in a Hawaiian dialect.[3]
