Brian Falzon
I have noticed that someone has been putting in a character named 'Brian Falzon' in some of the episodes of this season. Brian Falzon does not have any part in Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. I would like to ask that whoever it is putting 'Brian Falzon' into this page to plase stop as it will only get deleted immediately, being false information. Thank you. "View Episode"
Someone has constantly been putting "view this episode" links onto this page, linking to a site called "YouTube".
Any episode of this series being available online is a breach of copyright, and linking to such episodes is an even more serious breach. As such, any "view this episode" links will be promptly deleted.
Anyone who genuinely wants to view these episodes should go through more official processes, such as purchasing or hiring videos or DVDs.

- YouTube is an entirely legal site, Gonzerelli. Any videos without copyright permission are deleted from YouTube straight away, so it's alright. Jienum 21:01, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- I never said YouTube wasn't a legal site. Read my post again. Gonzerelli 06:02, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- You said YouTube was a breach of copyright. But it isn't, so linking to them shouldn't be so bad. Jienum 18:49, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- Again, read what I wrote. Any episode of this series being available online is a breach of copyright. Not a slight at YouTube, but that's the way it is. Gonzerelli 06:03, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Superfluous content
Superfluous content has been popping up fairly regularly in this article and others recently. Please see WikiProject Thomas for further discussion on this.
Superfluous edits include: Goofs, "first time we see X's angry face", appearances of non-character rolling stock, and other such additions. Superfluous comments such as these detract from the article significantly, and will be removed or reverted.

'Playhouse Disney'
Whoever is vandalizing this article with made-up garbage about this season being aired on Playhouse Disney needs to stop NOW. It was never aired on Playhouse Disney, nor will it ever be. Please stop.
Thanks, Patchmo
Featuring / Introducing
A few points to make on this.
- How a character can be introduced in an episode, but not featured in an episode, I'll never understand... So if they're down as "introduced", they should be in "featuring" as well.
- Please do not add "not yet introduced" to cameo appearances, it is very messy. Also, it is made clear when characters are introduced, in the "Characters introduced" section.
- The very first episode does not require qualification of "introducing". Of course this is the case. This is just like putting "first appearance of Thomas and Gordon" on the episode summary - it's bleeding obvious it's a first appearance, there were no episodes before this!
I am considering removing the "Introducing..." points from episode summaries, and leaving that to the "characters introduced" section. The characters' introduction should surely be highlighted in the textual episode summary in any case.
Gonzerelli 02:10, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
- EDIT - If a character is "introduced", they must also be "featured". This is now a "rule" across articles for all seasons. For WP:THOMAS, Gonzerelli 06:55, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Dirty Objects is James first accident.
Dirty Objects
Can someone please edit the information for the following episode name? James in a Mess Toby is still new to the railway, and often gets bullied by James about his and Henrietta's appearance. But one day James gets pushed out of control by trucks, and pushed into the yard. He runs into two idling tar wagons, smashing them, and derailing himself, resulting in him getting covered in tar. Percy and Toby soon bring the breakdown train, and help James out of his sticky situation. The Fat Controller then scolds him, and James is embarrassed, especially when Toby teases James for being dirty himself.
This should actually be
Dirty Objects (James in a Mess - US)
thanks, it's been bugging me
This page has been messed up!
Some noob has been replacing "The Fat Controller" with "Sir Topham Hatt" and "Troublesome Trucks" with "Foolish Freight Cars" and other American changes. Now, what this user doesn't understand, is that this is a British program so, British terms are used. Not American. Someone please help! --BigThomasFan 23:36, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Just some suggestions
Could the alternative titles (the American ones) be put back in parentheses next to the original names? And not just in this season. Also where it mentions where the narrators narrated a certain version could the episode of Shining Time Station also be included? After all that is how all season 1-4 episodes got to America.
Thanks

- No, and no.
- This is a British TV series. So therefore, the titles of the "UK version" are the original titles. The titles of the American-adapted episodes are just that - adaptations of the originals! As such, these are less important (note: I'm not saying "unimportant"!). The current formatting is clear, as it clearly acknowledges the "US titles", whilst making the original titles clear.
- This article is for Season 1 of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends only. There is a separate article for Shining Time Station.
- Both these points (episode naming conventions, and narrators) are clearly addressed in the opening section of the article.
Question
Is James and the Coaches the first episode not to have a title based on a story title? TobytheTramEngine 03:16, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Warning
Do NOT I repeat NOT remove the US titles. Just because it's a British program doesn't mean it cannot have less American terms (for example, James Learns a Lesson is an American term). Or does it? TobytheTramEngine 20:13, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Oh no
Thomas Breaks the Rules is messed up. Can someone fix it? TobytheTramEngine 23:47, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Oops. The episode list is messed up. Anyway, I reverted my edit that removed most of the summary on Thomas Breaks the Rules because it didn't help fixing the episode list. TobytheTramEngine 17:59, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
I tried the plots for Whistles and Sneezes and Thomas Breaks the Rules but it didn't work. I'll have to report this problem. TobytheTramEngine 15:59, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
I guess some IPs are up to this. I can't undo the edits due to some sort of difficulties. TobytheTramEngine 03:20, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
Semi-Protect
I've semi-protected this page due to user 66.84.180.XXX repeatedly vandalizing this and several other Thomas and friends pages. The user has had several accounts blocked but simply uses a different IP address to continue vandalism. The first seven numbers of the vandal's IP is always 66.84.180. the last three numbers change. As such the only solution for now is semi-protection.Postmortemjapan 13:22, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
