Xtube is an adult video hosting service, which allows registered users to share adult video content with others, and it allows unregistered & registered users to view such content. The terms of use of xtube.com state among other things that users must be 18 years of age or older. [1]

Xtube claims that it has over 2 million registered users, and an Alexa_Internet rank betweeen 257. [2][3] Xtube's main competitor is pornotube[4][5][6] Xtube distinguishes itself from it's competitors via having a wiki engine on their site,[7] Xtube was reportedly the first site to allow uploading of home-made adult content to a web site. Previously such content had to be shared either via Usenet newsgroups or via peer to peer file sharing networks.[8]
