Groove Networks is a Beverly, Massachusetts, based software company. Founded by Ray Ozzie, the creator of IBM's Lotus Notes application, the privately-held company specializes in productivity software that allows multiple users to work collaboratively on computer files simultaneously.

On 11 March, 2005, it was announced that the company had been purchased by Microsoft for an undisclosed sum. Microsoft plans to use Groove's collaboration software to expand their Microsoft Office suite beyond its current set of applications.
