Why did you delte the Project Honeypot Spam Domains page when I asked for a hold? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Igorberger (talkcontribs) 07:44, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You are senior editor at Wikipedia but you took an advise of a beginer Rocket000 who said he knows nothing between UnSpam - Project Honey Pot and PHSDL Do you Awyong Jeffrey Mordecai Salleh know the differnce or just acting as a big boss of Wikipedia? Whish you are not, but just part of the community.

I did put a hold on deletion, and you should have gave me time to discuss and make revisions.

The only thing I see of you is subpressing free speach and information for the Global Internet Village Community.

Your actions as an editor needs to be invetigated.

Thank you, Igor Berger (talk) 09:00, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CABAL? I assure you, if you think sysops contribute tirelessly to a public project for the purpose of subverting free speech ... then, I think you need to think about it again. (And I say this for someone who has been trying to come back for a year -- the work is exhausting. If we wanted to subvert free speech on Wikipedia we'd be interns for various world politicians.) I need your help

Hi Jeffery,

I created a short topic about Aspose but it's deleted. Even i did not use any offensive or marketing information. It was just to add simple information about a company like when it was founded and what does it do?

Is it offensive to be deleted so early?

Can you please advise me what should i write about it that it can't be deleted. I just added about Aspose with the intentions of providing information to your encyclopedia.

Reason: why did we add Aspose in Wikipedia?

We found from our visitors tracking that many people came to our website to get information about us from these URLs of wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icalendar http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wf-XML

So, we decided that it would be better to add some information about Aspose in wikipedia. You can see that i did not write very long information. It's just small piece of information about Aspose. If you think, it's annoying, we won't write in wikipedia but please give us a direction so that we may know that what we did wrong.

I thank you in advance for all of your help to me.

Have a good day.

This is what i wrote:

Aspose Pty Ltd is a .NET and Java component publisher, founded in March 2002 in Sydney, Australia. Almost all .NET components of Aspose can work with both Windows Forms and ASP.NET. Similarly, all Java components can also be used in Desktop and web applications. Aside from programming components, Aspose also offers Reporting Services Rendering Extensions for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services to export RDL reports as Word, Excel, PDF and PowerPoint documents.

The .NET and Java components provided by Aspose can be used to open, edit and create some popular file formats including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, InfoPath, PDF, Flash and Metafiles. Moreover, it is also possible to deal with Barcodes, Charts, iCalendar Recurrence Patterns, Network Protocols, Spell Checking, Query Building and Workflow. The most renowned product offered by Aspose is Aspose.Total.

Hi Jeffery,

Thanks for your message. I now understand your reason of deleting my short article about Aspose. The reason is that my article did not have any sources to show why Aspose is notable. I understand that it's not about fame otherwise, you could check our records in Google. If you check our company forums then you could see that we got almost 50,000 registered users.

  • Aspose in Google [1]
  • Our Company Forums [2]

But, if you think, this information is not enough and you want more reliable resource about Aspose then please check this page to see what Microsoft tells about us: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/asp.net/aa336556.aspx

On this page, please scroll down to see Third Party Controls Developers category. You will find Aspose at top of the 13 3rd Party Control Developers recommended by Microsoft.

Please let me know that what more proof should i provide you?

Thanks for your help.

I understand you're an administrator, but is there a particular reason for reverting the speedy deletion of this article? It is in the mainspace, with very little context. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Arendedwinter (talkcontribs) 08:54, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adetiba page

I created a page for a Director named Adetiba, very short, and you deleted it may I ask why. I have many other sources I could have added, but I didnt for fear of it being mistaken as promotional propoganda. Could you give me a hand and advise me in the direction I should go. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adetiba (talkcontribs) 04:04, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

When I started to look into it more deeply, I recognized I probably shouldn't have tagged the new article with a speedy; my apologies. I was misled by the facts that, upon first reading, the artist was self-published and that his own name was a red-line link. I note that you're amalgamating the two articles and wish you well with it; if there's something I can do to help, let me know. Accounting4Taste:talk 06:11, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, referred it to CSD per the 'recreating of deleted content' based on the creation edit summary and the fact that I had referred it for CSD a little awhile ago and it had been deleted by someone else. Didn't realize you had just declined the db-band. AvruchTalk 06:22, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Funnily enough, my removing the {{db-bio}} tag from this article on the grounds of its making an assertion of notability (viz., that the individual was in the cast of a notable film, albeit in an apparently exceedingly minor part), sourced, no less, although only to IMDB, which in a stricter analysis is, of course, not always the most reliable source, and with the suggestion that the issue be taken to AfD edit-conflicted with your deleting the article. It's certainly not the sort of thing that I'm inclined to take to DRV, the PIIer in me notwithstanding, because I do not imagine that this would survive at AfD, at least were no other sources toward notability offered (there is nothing to suggest that she has had "a significant role in [a] notable film"), but I suppose I might encourage you to take, should you have a second, a moment to review the deletion here; if you remain convinced that it is A7able, I'll have no particular objection. Thanks, Joe (Wake me from my food coma) 08:09, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am in a rather deletionist mood today and I still feel it fell off the wrong side of A7. ;-) Awyong Jeffrey Mordecai Salleh 08:12, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
