Suggestions for improvement:

1. This article is mainly about the Bay of Pigs invasion and the Cuban Missle Crisis. Is there anything on this page that is not already said in those respective articles?

2. The section on Kennedy's legacy, once again, mostly refers to these two incidents. Is there anything that can be added to describe Kennedy's legacy in Latin America at large, which I believe was supposed to be the point of this article?

3. The article seems to present a one sided view that the Alliance for Progress was mainly a sham to protect US interests with a "facade of humanitarianism". This doesn't seem like NPOV, and does anybody know if it is indeed an accurate representation, i.e. if there were any concrete results from US aid? I know that Kennedy is generally remembered fondly in Latin America, and has even appeared on postage in some countries.
