Pat Forde is a senior sports columnist for ESPN.com who specializes in the coverage of horse racing and college sports, mainly NCAA Division I Football and Men's Basketball.

Besides his columns on ESPN's front page, Forde also writes a weekly "Forde Yard Dash" during the NCAA football regular season, featuring 40 mentions of college football from the previous week, as well as a weekly "Dashette", a female model or celebrity that has a name ending with a vowel and a Notre Dame/Ty Willingham reference. During the NCAA basketball regular season this column turns into "Forde Minutes" following the same premise as the Dash.

Before he went to ESPN, he was a sportswriter at the The Courier-Journal in Louisville, KY.

He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Missouri. Pat is also known for being an SEC supremacist and a basher of the Big Ten Conference, especially the University of Michigan.
