Salt, Girona

Salt is a municipality in the comarca of the Gironès in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the right bank of the Ter next to Girona, with which it was merged from 1974 to 1984. The A-7 autopista and N-141 road pass through the municipality.

Manufacturing
Salt is the home of Gas Gas Motorcycles. Gas Gas is a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer, specializing in off-road motorbikes. The manufacturer exports trials, enduro, and motocross bikes, quads and parts worldwide from it's manufacturing facility in Salt.
