Bridesmaid dress with spaghetti straps

A spaghetti strap is a very thin shoulder strap used in mens and womens clothing, such as camisoles, cocktail dresses, and evening gowns, so-named for its resemblance to the thin pasta strings called spaghetti.

Some institutions ban spaghetti-strap and other bare-shouldered garments on grounds of modesty. [1] [2] [3] [4]
